Leigh & Ashley’s Colour-Soaked Floral Dream at Trevenna Barns

On Monday, we were back at one of our all-time favourite venues — the ever-beautiful Trevenna Barns in Cornwall. Honestly, it feels like our second home now, and we’re not mad about it. This time, it was for Leigh and Ashley’s wedding — and what an absolute dream day it was.

Leigh, an incredibly talented florist, turned the venue into a floral wonderland. Think bold colour, luscious texture, and show-stopping installations in every corner. You could feel the love, care, and creativity she poured into every arrangement — it was nothing short of breathtaking. We’ve seen Trevenna in all kinds of beautiful forms, but this was next level. It was a true reflection of Leigh and Ashley’s vibrant personalities and their shared creative spirit.

Now let’s talk about the cake. We’re still not over it. A literal work of art (scroll through the gallery — you’ll see exactly what we mean). Every detail of the day was perfectly considered, from the décor to the tiniest finishing touches — not a single leaf was left unturned. And yes, the iconic Birdie photo booth made an appearance, and it was everything we dreamed of and more! Guests couldn’t get enough of it — and neither could we.

The evening vibes were next-level thanks to an amazing band and the absolute legend Andy on sax. The energy was electric. Pair that with the gorgeous Trevenna food and a lineup of some of our favourite wedding suppliers, and you’ve got yourself a proper dream team.

Let’s also take a moment to honour the fashion: the dress, the shoes, and... SPARKLY COWBOY BOOTS. Yes, they deserve all caps. Truly iconic and so them.

From golden hour portraits to smoke bomb magic (yes — we did it twice), the whole day was pure joy from start to finish. We felt so welcomed and loved — it honestly didn’t feel like work at all. There was so much laughter, warmth, and wild joy in the air, and we feel so lucky to have been part of it all.
